I am
a self employed Artist
and Art Therapist. After gaining a Bachelor of
Arts in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design, I
worked as a freelance artist for 7 years, doing illustration, murals,
photography and other creative ventures. In 1994 I went back to school
to get a Masters in Expressive
Therapy from the University of Louisville.
Since then I have been working also as an Art Therapist. Currently my
clients are children, many of whom have Autism. Three years ago I
shifted to part time self employed therapy work in order to start
marketing my art again. My expanse of knowledge about the world and
perceptions about reality have been changed by my experience as a
therapist and I have been incorporating this into my new work.
